Establishing a Cross-Domain Smart IoT Innovation Lab Connecting Asia and Silicon Valley
The Department of Information Network Engineering has been awarded a grant from the Ministry of Education to establish the "Artificial Intelligence/IoT/Edge Computing Laboratory," creating an innovative learning environment and enhancing industry-academia collaboration to increase local employment opportunities. This initiative aims to cultivate high-quality practical talents for the industry, providing excellent practical and applied industrial university services in innovative technologies. The promotion of industry-academia collaboration in innovative technology services and outstanding technology transfer performance accumulates industry-academia research and development capabilities to assist traditional industries in upgrading and accelerate the development of the 5+2 innovative industries. The curriculum is divided into three parts: basic courses, core courses, and applied courses, all of which are practical courses to ensure a balanced development of "professional knowledge" and "practical skills."
